Birthday Card for a friend

Hello fellow crafters, I have to start of by giving a big Thank You to Tabitha at Tabitha Designs for giving my blog a makeover:) I just loved how it turned out. Im a big Daisy Duck fan and she made my blog so cute, girly, and fun. If you want to give your blog a makeover please stop by her blog and tell her that Monica at Crafty Moni sent you:)

Today I made a card for my good friend Erika. Although her birthday is not until the 1st week of September, I wanted to get a head start:) I made my card to fit a couple of challenges.

Peachy Keen's Just cards Popped up
Mojo Monday Sketch 253
Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday Fabric Challenge
Simon Says Stamps: Lets play bingo challenge (I used the Die cut, Free, & Glitter row)
My Crafting Channel Fabric Friday Challenge

I used Peachy Keen's PK-123 Darren and Laura Lee stamp set. I stamped it once on paper and once on an old pair of ripped jeans to make her dress.

To color her in, I used a dauber and Memento's Desert Sand ink pad, to give her that nice tanned skin tone. For her hair and shoes I used Distress Markers.

I sewed some heart buttons onto her jean dress, and added Glossy Accents on her eyes and shoes. For the tag I used My Creative Time's Tag Dies. I inked the Cuttle Bug Happy Birthday embossing folder with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink pad (I had never done this before) But I loved how it turned out:)
I used Stickles X-mas Red on random flower centers of the background paper. For the flower I used My Creative Time Scallop & Stitched Circle Die and the All Around Birthday Time Stamp set.
For the sentiment I used My Creative Time Floral Sentiments

If anyone is interested in being a part of a Design Team, my friend Tabitha at Tabitha Designs is having a Design team call, please stop by her blog and let her know that Monica from Crafty Moni sent you:)

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and taking the time to leave me a comment.

Peace, Love, & Cricut Hugs!
