Birthday Card for Mom

Image
Hello fellow Crafters, Happy Friday! I have a very special card to share with you all today. I made this birthday card for my mom:) My color inspiration came from  Cupcake Inspirations . Loved this color combo. Ok I know that my Apricot color is a little darker then the one on the color pallet but hey, it stills works :)lol. I added lots of pop dots to give my card dimension. I don't know if you can see from the picture, but the paper has a very pretty metallic shine to it. The pretty paper rose is from my stash. I made it a few weeks ago with the  Rolled Flower Dies  from  My Creative Time. I used the DCWV "The Peachy Keen Stack. I Love this paper stack, I got it for sale at Joann's at the beginning of the year, and Im just getting the courage to use it up:)lol. Gotta love pretty paper:)lol.  Kept the inside of the card simple.  Products used:  Lime Green Pearls from my stash White Twine from my Stash Sheer Ribbon from Stash P

Mothers Day Cards

Image
Hello fellow Crafters:) Hope everyone had a great weekend and a fabulous National Scrapbook Day. I found some time to craft this weekend, and made these two beautiful mothers day cards. At first glance they might look identical, but their slightly different lol. I made these Mothers Day cards to give out to my Mom and Mother in-law for Mothers Day. The paper came from DCWV and also from I think it was a My Minds Eye paper stack (sorry I don't remember the name of the paper).  I used lots and lots of  My Creative Time  products for my card. I love, love, love the dies and stamps that Emma  releases. Trust me, you need to get your hands on some of her products to play with:)lol I cut the  frame  out from chipboard and then took some of my brand new Ferro Brenstein-Gold paint. OMG this paint is awesome! The picture doesn't do it justice. Not only is the paint a rich and shinny gold, it also leaves a bit of a granny residue to give it a rustic effect, totally awesome!

Birthday Card with a hint of Canadian

Image
Hello fellow bloggie friends:) I have a birthday card to share with you all today. My brother asked me to make him a birthday card for his boss. He asked that the Canadian maple leaf be somewhere on it:) So I jumped on the Silhouette store and found this beauty. Even though I was short on time,  I think this was the fastest card I put together:). I loved how it came out! I used the "Happy Birthday" Cuttlebug folder on the maple leaf, to give it a bit more of detail along with some gems to give it some sass. The sentiment on the front of the card is from  My Creative Time's Floral Sentiments . On the inside of the card I used a smaller maple leaf and added the adorable classy girl silhouette from   My Creative Time's Classy Girl Furbaby Die set  and  My Creative Time's Classy Girl Accessories . This is the first time I used this set of dies, and I can assure you, it wont be the last. They are so much fun! The inside sentiment came form  My Creative Tim
