Xcaret Layout
Hi fellow crafters, I am so excited to share my layout with you all today. I got into paper crafting for this reason, to make layouts for all my pictures, but as I started exploring other crafting techniques and paper projects I distant myself from scraping layouts. This is why I am excited to share with you all a layout:)lol.
This picture was taken back in August 2009, almost five years ago. I told you I have to catch up on my scrapbooking lol.
This picture was taken in one of Cancun's theme parks called Xacart. My boyfriend and I went while we were out in Cancun for our friends wedding. This theme park is amazing! Its full of natural beauty and wonder. I truly loved it, and would love to go back. Its a must do on the Cancun visit list.
I used the sketch from Sketchabilities for my layout. I love using sketches, they're inspirational, and make scrapbooking fun for me:)
I used sequence, some recycled net, a prima flower, twine, seashells and starfish cut outs. Some My Creative Time products, and two white seashells I brought back from the white sandy beaches of Cancun:)
I used Cuttlebug's D'vine Swirl on a strip of paper to give more detail. This cute flower tag is from the Silhouette store. I plan on doing some journaling on it, and tucking it back behind the blue paper so my handwriting won't show lol.
I would like to enter my layout in the following challenges:
Sketchabilities: Sketch 119
Gloria Designs Challenge: Challenge 12
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge: 220
Thank you for stopping by my blog today, and leaving me some bloggy love:)
Peace, Love, & Creative Hugs!

All of the paper I used except the 12x12 for my background, was from my scraps stash, yay! The word Xcaret was cut with my Cricut. I used the Life's a Beach Circuit Cartridge.
My Creative Time products used:
Sketchabilities: Sketch 119
Gloria Designs Challenge: Challenge 12
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge: 220
