Hi fellow crafters:) Today I made a card for my mom for mothers day. No Cricut today, just my Cuttlebug, Dies, Embellishments, Ink, Stamps, and Scraps:) I saw  Shar from Scrapendipitye , make some flowers using My Creative Time's "Scallop & Stitched Circle Dies," and I wanted to give it a shot. Of course being that they were my first flowers, they didn't come out perfect, but with a little practice I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. Thanks Shar, for the great idea:) I will be entering my card in the following challenges: Lollipop Crafts : Mama Mia Sentimental Sundays : For a Special Women Top Tip Tuesday : Clean & Simple Thank yo for stopping by and leaving me a comment. I love reading them:) Peace, Love, & Cricut Hug's! Monica L.

Hello fellow crafters:) I just finished my card for this weeks Peachy Keen Challenge "Create a card using your own background." For this challenge I knew that I wanted to create a sunset background and I wanted to use my new "Faceless Corn" set from Peachy Keen. So I got an ivory blank sheet of card stock, and my Tim Holtz Distress inks and went to work:) An attempt to a close up on the background  As I was looking through my stamps I saw My Creative Time "Hello Spring with Layering Egg Dies" and pictured the two little bunnies sharing a sunset. Unfortunately one of my bunnies didn't ink right, oh wells. I really liked how my card turned out, and had a lot of fun creating the background. I also tried paper piecing for the first time with the cute little corns. I can't wait to get more stamps to try this technique out again:)  I will be entering my card in the following challenges:  Peachy Keen : Challenge #15 Create a card wi...
