Bug Card

When I saw the inspiration photo for this week’s Peachy Keen Challenge, I thought to myself, how yummyJlol. Looking at the bowl of yummy fruit I got a mental picture of an outdoor gathering on a nice warm summer day. With yummy sweet fruit out like this, on a warm summer day, it never seems to surprise me that some sort of bug or a dozen ants will be close by. So I thought it would be fun to make a card with a cute little ant on it. I used the colors of the fruit form the inspiration picture to create my card.

I created the card on my handy-dandy Gypsy. The card is from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I believe that the flower is from April Showers Cricut Cartridge (hope that's the name of the cartridge), and for the cute ant, I used the Best of Disney/Pixar Cricut Cartridge.

Here's a close up

The card didn't come up how a envisioned it in my mind, because I got a little confused on the cuts for the ant/bug, nonetheless I think the card came out cute. I put the little bug on an action wobble to make seem like it fly's around:) I added some Stickles and pearls for eyes and I was happy. On the flowers I used Peachy Keens "PK-640 Princess Face Assortment." For the sentiment I used My Creative Time "Teeny Tag Greetings."

I will be submitting this card in:
