Black & White Card

I made a black and white card for E.A.D Designs February Color Challenge. I have to admit, I had never made a black and white card before. It was so hard not to add a splash of color to the card:)lol, but I'm really glad I didn't because I loved the way the card turned out. I think it looks pretty elegant and pretty.

I used Mojo Monday's sketch theme, because I will also be entering this card in Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge . I had never used someone else's sketch to make a card, but I had fun with this challenge so I will be entering more sketch challenges in the future.

Here's a bit of a close up

I used my handy-dandy gypsy to help me get all the measurements down to match the sketch perfectly. The groom and bride are from the "Potpourri Basket" Cricut Cartridge.

For the sentiment outside of the card I used My Creative Time "Teeny Tag Greetings" I love Emma's stamps, they are so versatile. Inside of the card I used another of My Creative Time stamps called "Gift Card Sentiments".  It's hard to tell from the picture but I heat embossed the sentiment on the outside of the card.

I had lots of fun making this card, and I will be trying to do another black and white card soon:)
I will be entering this card in a few challenges:
E.A.D Designs : February Color Challenge
Mojo Monday: Sketch Challenge #229
Fantabulous Cricut: Challenge Me Monday #99- Fancy Trims
