Sunset Background Card

Hello fellow crafters:) I just finished my card for this weeks Peachy Keen Challenge "Create a card using your own background."

For this challenge I knew that I wanted to create a sunset background and I wanted to use my new "Faceless Corn" set from Peachy Keen. So I got an ivory blank sheet of card stock, and my Tim Holtz Distress inks and went to work:)
An attempt to a close up on the background
As I was looking through my stamps I saw My Creative Time "Hello Spring with Layering Egg Dies" and pictured the two little bunnies sharing a sunset. Unfortunately one of my bunnies didn't ink right, oh wells. I really liked how my card turned out, and had a lot of fun creating the background.

I also tried paper piecing for the first time with the cute little corns. I can't wait to get more stamps to try this technique out again:)

I will be entering my card in the following challenges:
Peachy Keen: Challenge #15 Create a card with your own background.
Paper Playtime: Challenge #73 Anything Goes and Blog Hop.
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes.
Lollipop Crafts: Challenge #78 Anything Goes.

Supplies used for card:

Peachy Keen's "PK-292 Faceless Corn"
My Creative Time "Hello Spring with Layering Egg Dies"
Tim Holtz Disstress inks: Pumice Stone, Shabby Shutters, Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw, Antique Linen, Milled Lavender, Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire, & Dusty Concord.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment, I love reading them:) If you have time stop by the blogs I mentioned above, and play along:)

Peace, Love, & Cricut Hug's!
