Sunset Background Card

Hello fellow crafters:) I just finished my card for this weeks Peachy Keen Challenge "Create a card using your own background."


For this challenge I knew that I wanted to create a sunset background and I wanted to use my new "Faceless Corn" set from Peachy Keen. So I got an ivory blank sheet of card stock, and my Tim Holtz Distress inks and went to work:)

As I was looking through my stamps I saw My Creative Time "Hello Spring with Layering Egg Dies" and pictured the two little bunnies sharing a sunset. Unfortunately one of my bunnies didn't ink right, oh wells. I really liked how my card turned out, and had a lot of fun creating the background.


I also tried paper piecing for the first time with the cute little corns. I can't wait to get more stamps to try this technique out again:)

Tim Holtz Disstress inks: Pumice Stone, Shabby Shutters, Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw, Antique Linen, Milled Lavender, Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire, & Dusty Concord.

Hi crafty friends, I made this card with one of Tim Holtz day of the dead stamps. A rather simple, but super cute 4x4 card. This was the first time I made a card this size, and it won't be my last:) I used my Spectrum Nior color pencils to color the flowers on the image and some Tim Holtz stickles. I added some sequence on the corners of the cards and stamped a Halloween sentiment on the inside of the card. Rainbow Card

Hello fellow crafters, hope everyone is having a great day! Yay, I have another card to share with you guys today! I made this card to enter into a few challenges. Its a spring card:) Im so ready for spring to hit in full bloom in California:)lol. All the papers I used on my card were from my scrap drawer, yay me:)lol. Im proud of how my card turned out. I think it has a great spring feeling to it (thats what I was going for lol). Like how a nice spring day would be with a rainbow out:) I used Sketchy Friday's sketch #14 for the layout of my card.  Markers and Inks used To color in the rainbow I used regular Crayola markers.To color the cute little girl, I used my Spectrum Noir markers, PL2, LV2, LG3, CG4, GG1, BP1, CR2, TN3, and TN4.   I love, love, love, Emma's (My Creative Time) stamps. Enjoy the Simple Things

Hello fellow crafters, I have a card to share with you all today. For my card today, I used the BINGO theme from House Mouse Challenge . I used the line right in the middle (Orange, Yellow, and Green) option. These three colors remind me of fall, and I love fall! The aroma of pumpkin, cooler weather, the holidays, just love what fall brings along. I recently purchased this stamp at Scrapbooking Made Simple , a local scrapbooking store (they also have an online store option) and I really wanted to use it, so I thought this challenge would be a perfect time to do so. The colorful leaf paper is from the DCWV Amber Autumn card stock stack. I used one of my Nestabilities dies to cut out a piece of orange card stock.
